NYC to pay parents

One of the biggest problems in this country is the family that elp6n mentioned- the one with children that really doesn't want them. I just don't see anybody with much of an answer.

But since I have to pay for it, I say no! There is no direct correlation between attendance and performance. I'm sick and tired of paying for these slackers to take up space. Kick them off the welfare system, let them go to work, lay aside their drugs and whoring, and then I could help them. Get a job, get a life!

You cannot tell me that a student who is never at school will do better than someone who is there every day.

Nor can you tell me that someone who is there every day will 'learn' anything.

Government schools aren't about learning, they are about indoctrination.
